We’re getting spooky this week, folks. Journey back to Curtis’ Beyond Fest 2021 screening series as we take on: our first guest to the Fungeon, the beginnings of our Summer watchings, more RRR love, and finally, the Thai found-footage creepfest, THE MEDIUM.

 

00:00 - 23:00ish Intros: We’re interrupted early on by our first ever guest to the Fungeon, the lovely and incomparable Mattie Schnieders to tell us that she’s… been listening to another podcast. Lucas had his Tarot read, and we went through a national holiday that didn’t feel very patriotic featuring a lot of extremely LA talk (shocker, we know).

 

23:00ish - 1:07:00ish What we watched this week (mixed with holdover 4th of July talk) Top Gun: Maverick (again again), Jurassic World: Dominion (Cody is the only one who has done this), The Black Phone, Insidious (who Cody subjected his horror-averse buddy Dennis to. Thank you and we’re sorry, Dennis), Night of the Demon, Mimic, Final Destination 1&2, You’re Next, Ghoul, Dark Waters, Evil Dead 2 (we watch this movie a lot, folks), Eight Legged Freaks, Elvis, Stranger Things S4, Jaws, Crawl, Return of the Living Dead, RRR (Lucas finally finished and can yell along with Curtis and Cody!), The Batman (Lucas for the NINTH time), Turning Red, and The Bear.
